Arrive To JRO (Kilimanjaro International Airport)

Welcome to Tanzania. You will be picked up at the Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to your hotel in Arusha town; you will meet the company representative and trip your guide who will brief you and cross check all important travel documents.

Day 1: Drive to Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast depart for Lake Manyara National Park with a picnic lunch box.  Enjoy a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, located between the rocks of the Great Rift Valley and the Manyara Lake.  The beauty of this park is partly due to its large variety of birdlife, grasslands, forests, and water on troops: Lake Manyara is believed to have the largest number of these primates on earth!

Day 2: Drive to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart to the Serengeti National Park with a picnic Lunch box.  We drive via Olduvai Gorge. Enjoy the full-day game drive in the Serengeti.  Grasslands cover more than one-third of the park, and you will find many animals throughout the year.

Day 3: Enjoy Serengeti National Park

Enjoy a full-day game drive in the Serengeti National Park with a picnic lunch box. Relax and enjoy the vast beauty that Africa has to offer. The Serengeti is one of the few places in Africa where game sanctuaries have remained completely unspoiled.

Day 4: Drive to Ngorongoro Crater

We wake up early in the morning and after breakfast depart to the Ngorongoro Crater via Malanja Depression.  We are passing through various Masai Villages towards our lodge.

Day 5: Drive to Tarangire National Park

On our last day together, we will drive to Tarangire, a must-see for avid birdwatchers, boasting over 550 different bird species, the most diverse in Africa, including the Kori Bustard, the heaviest flying bird on earth! The Tarangire River runs through the park attracting a huge number of elephants, buffalo, giraffes, and antelope, particularly in the dry season between June and October. It is not uncommon to see large herds of elephants roaming through Tarangire’s savannah grasses or taking shade under the odd-looking “upside-down trees” (Baobab) that are dotted around the park. Following a morning game-drive, you will transfer to your hotel in Arusha or directly to Kilimanjaro Airport for onward travel.
