"Six days: Witnessing nature's grand spectacle.

The Wildebeest Calving Safari is short-lived but epic in scale. It generally starts in January and by February some 8,000 baby wildebeests are born every day. The calving season carries on into March and is joined by other animals too. Tens of thousands of zebras and gazelles accompany the wildebeests on their trek and take advantage of safety in numbers to drop their young. Your chance to see prey interaction and even a kill is very high during the Serengeti calving season

Arrive to JRO (Kilimanjaro International Airport)

Welcome to Tanzania. You will be picked up at the Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to your hotel in Arusha town; you will meet the company representative and trip your guide who will brief you and cross check all important travel documents.

Day 1: Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, we depart to Tarangire National Park (approximately 3 hours’ drive).  We will be at the Tarangire Park gate at around 11:00 am, and we proceed with an en-route game drive to the picnic area where we will enjoy our picnic lunch.  Enjoy an afternoon game drive within the Tarangire National Park.  Our tented camp is just outside the park.

Day 2: Drive to Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast depart for Lake Manyara National Park with a picnic lunch box.  Enjoy a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, located between the rocks of the Great Rift Valley and the Manyara lake.  The beauty of this park is partly due to its large variety of birdlife, grasslands, forests and water.  Late afternoon, drive to Karatu

Day 3: Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Ndutu region.

After breakfast, we drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.  The route follows along the Ngorongoro Highlands, Ngorongoro Crater rim, passing Malanja Depression towards Olduvai Gorge.  We will visit the museum and the Gorge, and we will enjoy our picnic lunch. Afternoon drive towards our camp, which is located within the Ndutu area. Followed by our afternoon game drive at this unique Ndutu area which forms the north-western part of the Ngorongoro Conservation area

Day 4: Ngorongoro Conservation Ndutu Region

After breakfast, enjoy a full day game drive where you will witness the Wildebeest Migration with thousands of newborn wildebeest calves.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater and Karatu

After breakfast, we drive to the Ngorongoro Crater We descend 600 m into the magnificent crater for game drives.  Witness an unforgettable spectacle of African wildlife – a world teeming with animals. The park sustains a wide variety of animals, including the black rhino, with its year-round water supply and fodder.  Later in the late afternoon, ascend to the crater rim and drive through Ngorongoro Highlands.  Proceed to our lodge which is located with the Ngorongoro village of Karatu.

Day 6: Karatu Area to Arusha

After breakfast, choose from a few optional excursions in the Karatu area (coffee farming tour, visit the market in Karatu town and shop for some souvenirs.)  Midday back to our lodge for Lunch.  Drive to Kilimanjaro International Airport or in Arusha City for your international flight. (Add a few extra days on Zanzibar Island). End of service.
